“Jiezno vaikai” is taking care of nearly one hundred of orphans and children from asocial families. These children live in Jieznas children foster home, "Atžalynas" children foster  home and "Gilė" children foster home.The children are from 3 to 18 years old. There are few who need these hurt children. The Fund is willing to encourage them to learn, develop, be interested in their future, and become mature personalities. Therefore the Fund’s priority is children’s education.

 

 

Now the state is taking care of the children. They have enough food and clothers, but they will be provided only until they reach a certain age. These children lack confidence and possibilities to develop. Only knowledge acquired, books read, languages learnt and responsible attitude towards life formed can change their future. Because of this the Fund aims to create as favorable as possible conditions for learning. The fund seeks to develop children’s outlook. We want children to dream and not to be limited by the possibilities of a small town. We want them to find their places in life.
